Scandinavian Modern teak secretaire by Gunnar Falsig 1960s Mid-century modern Danish secretaire with curved front. Very elegant and versatile, both a writing desk and a chest of drawers. Manufactured by Holstebro Møbelfabrik aka Falsig Møbelfabrik. This secretaire is sometimes attributed to Arne Vodder who may have designed it for Falsig. Three wide drawers with turned pulls in solid teak under the pull out desk. Above the desk is a compartment behind double sliding glass doors with etching. Four small drawers with integrated pulls. Open shelf on top. Standing on round tapered legs. Height from floor to underside of desk is 70.5 cm. Very good mid-century quality and craftsmanship with dovetail joints in every drawer. Teak veneer with a beautiful warm hue.
