Urban Solid: Two Italian artists trained at the Milan Academy of Fine Arts have been developing strange sculptures affixed to city walls for the past five years. They are pioneers of three-dimensional street art, imposing their often disturbing creations, bursting with vibrant colors (designed to provoke a reaction, even a violent one), throughout Europe: Milan, Florence, Turin, London (where they particularly favor the Brick Lane and Shoreditch neighborhoods), and also Paris. Television screens, ears, faces, and figures seem to literally emerge from the wall like appendages.
